Costume Party

Well the annual costume party was last night, and yes Jillian (the nanny), Amanda and Diva (dead prom), and I (Audrey Hepburn) all attended the fabulist party, we where joined by Johnny Ramon (Andy Grooms) and some other very importuned people. Once the judging came we had to be in character and look good. Jillian won 3rd place and I came in 2nd place. Audrey is very imprested with the outfit that Kelly and Amanda wiped up. I would like to thank Amanda for helping me sow, because I don’t know how to, I don’t even know if I spelled it right.

Car- I personally do not thing John Kerry is a dodo head. I think that he will be much better then what is in store with Bush. I think you should see the documenter that move-on is showing around our wonderful nation, this documenter is called “Going Up River” or “Up River” or something along that lines, check it out and let me know what you think.

Today Jill and I will be going to Madison and spending our lovely weekend running from cops and partying in costumes, o wait I’m 21 I don’t have to run anymore, happy day, sorry Jill.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN.

I can empathize with your view on kerry. However, my thoughts on his being a tool stem from a few seperate issues. The one i'll toss out right now, is that he voted to go to war with iraq. It was easy to tell before it began that it was niether moral nor the right way to go in general. He voted for it. That's one of the reasons he's a tool in my book.

I had meant for the real point of my interjection not to be a criticism of bush and kerry, but rather to emphasize the fact that the presidential election is no more important than congressional ones. I have tired of hearing that we must vote in this election because the president will make or break the country. If we were to be vigilant and pimp our congress and president, it shouldn't matter whether or not we pick a chode like bush, congress should have our backs and keep him in check.

Well i'm off to Boulder. Thanks for your reply and for reading my rants. I'll check out the documentary when i get a chance, and i'll try not to approach it with my normal cynicism and try not think of it as being propaganda. Rock out in duber! Send me some pics of the party.

I just finnished watching Going Up River. While his actions were commendable, we could have used that same determination to avoid the current situation in Iraq. If only he had used his eloquent words to preempt that war as well. Where were the morals that the movie spoke of at that time? Kerry has seemed more and more inclined to pull the troops out of iraq. While this is a theoretically acceptable action i do not feel it is the correct one. We have devastated the country. We must rebuild it and help it stablize itself before we leave it. Part of the stabalization will have to be some sort of presence. Though, this must not be the only part, we must also send aid and economically revitalize the country as it is very weak from years of our very own trade embargos which were the reason so many in that country were starving.

In short, i don't think the allusions that vietnam and iraq are basically similar cases holds up. I don't recall anything being directly stated like that, but i believe they were trying for it. It does establish Kerry as a leader which will help any of the independents out there who think he may not be(though i'm not sure why an independent would see this film). I respect the contributions he made, though i am curious where his idealism went. On a side note, i think that movie could have been at least a half hour shorter.

Well, i think it's time for a breakfast brat. I hope that the stupidness on halloween didn't fowl things for you. Be sure to stop in the whisky for me.
